Japanese Handcraft Life
How can ancient handcrafts satisfy living today in two different countries: Japan and the U.S.?
Long Time No See!

I was very glad to see my husband, Jeff, after 6 months separation.    Now I can stay with him in the U.S.  for about a month.   However I usually have terrible jet lag.  Going west ( I mean going to Japan) is OK, but going east (to the U.S. from Japan) it is not easy to adjust . . . interesting.

This year, the herbs are growing very well.  He planted rosemary, sweet basil, thyme, tomatos, and strawberries.   I try to cook with them.   Today I cooked salmon with fresh rosemary.  It turned out very good.   I also made some rice balls with thyme and sesame seeds.  They were good too.
