Mom is very good at needle tatting lace.  I kept asking her to teach me how.   Unfortunately, we live apart, so she sent me a good textbook of needle tatting lace.  With mom's advice, I taught myself how to make the needle tatting lace.   A few days later, I understood most of them.  Therefore I started to make a black linen bag with bright red tatting lace.  Making tatting lace is similar to crochet, but it takes me more time than crocheting or knitting.  I had never thought about making lace by myself.  Once I touched one, I fell in love with this beautiful and strong tatting lace.   I really enjoy making them.  I am working hard to make this bag for my next sale.   Thanks Mom!!!
